Gleam | Decorative Films with Pearl Inks

A Pearl Finish That Moves With the Light

Gleam™ Pearl Ink Finish Technology

Gleam™ is a pearl ink finish technology from i2M, available on any of our decorative films. Pool liner manufacturers use it to offer a premium pearlescent liner, and it works just as well on wall systems, interior panels, and any decorative surface that should do more than show a printed pattern. Gleam uses pearl inks, which reflect light differently as lighting and viewing angle change, giving printed patterns a soft luster, depth, and movement that standard inks can’t produce.

A Printed Pattern That Responds to Light.

Standard printed films show a pattern in flat color. It looks the same from every angle and under every light. Gleam changes that. Pearl inks are printed into the pattern, so the surface picks up a pearlescent luster that shifts as the light moves across it. The result is a pool liner or decorative surface that looks richer and more dimensional than a standard print.

Frequently Asked Questions About Gleam Decorative Film

How is Gleam different from standard pool liner film?

Standard pool liner film is printed with standard inks, so the pattern reads the same from every angle. Gleam adds pearl ink, giving the liner a luster that moves with sunlight, underwater lighting, and the water itself.

Gleam creates depth with pearlescent inks. Glaze creates depth by printing matte and high-gloss zones together on one film surface. Both are i2M decorative film technologies developed with pool liners in mind.
